Lonely Buyog –
Story by Riza Flores Martinez
Art by Bhea S. Vacio
Buyog was lonely because he had no father and mother. His only wish on Christmas was to have a mother and father.
Buyog wrote to Santa. Santa received his letter. When Santa read his letter, Santa felt very sad.
It was Christmas day. Buyog was lonely again because all the bees were out celebrating. He was the only one without a mother and a father.
One hour later, two nice bees came for Buyog to be his mother and father. Buyog was very happy. He had new parents and a new home.
Buyog whispered to himself, “Thank you Lord and thank you Santa for my new parents. I promise, I will love my new parents and my new family. I will be good to all the bees. I love you, and thank you very much.”
Then Buyog lived happily with his new family. He was not lonely anymore!

Christmas Morning
An Essay
By Ma. Riza Flores Martinez
On Christmas morning we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ.
We sing the Christmas carols, and we go to church. We must forgive our neighbors, friends, relatives and enemies for the wrong they’ve done to us.
We must pray and thank God this very morning because God gives us a Saviour for our sins. If somebody hurts you, you must forgive him.
Then the Lord will reward you because of all the good things you have done.
On this Christmas morning, remember that God gives us the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ our Lord!
